[unresolved] BUG: 6.3 RC1: Remnant of "update ready to be installed" stays up on screen

This has happened to me twice today. The message that says "An update is ready to be installed" stays up even when I switch to other apps:

Was this the update to RC2?

Well it happened twice today, so perhaps the first time it was some resources and the second time it was the update to RC2. But I know that I was still running RC1 when the second one happened, so it hadn't installed RC2 yet at the time.
