[ACK] Disappointed in Journal Tagging

Let me start by saying that I'm very happy to own the Master Journal Bundle, and that it has already started paying itself off in light of the classes/studies I'm participating in!

That being said, I'm disappointed that the journals aren't better integrated into the journals section of the guides. There have been a number of articles, in just the week or two since the journals started shipping, which I found to be dealing directly/exclusively with a certain passage, but which didn't show up in the journals section of a guide that was run on the passage.

In the screenshot below, I show an article which erroneously didn't show up in the journals section, PLUS it would show up in a search unless I included "surface text" even though the full Bible reference is spelled out in the Title! Even with limiting this search to only Journals, I still had 497 hits in 148 resources, so you can imagine how disappointing it was to need to go through such a list trying to find the FEW articles written specifically about the passage.

This is just one more example of why we need crowdsourced tagging. UserVoice

This particular resource is in the MJB and it also already existed in the greater Logos ecosystem. This means when you recently (I assume) purchased MJB it gave you immediate access to everything that has already been published--including BSac 138.

Every single journal in the MJB is on schedule to be completely updated by October. This includes the journal you're using right now. You're not getting any results because BSac's work hasn't been finished yet. Once its done, you'll receive the updated files.

I hope that makes sense. I also hope my first paragraph accurately reflects what happened in your situation. Either way, the entire BSac collection is being worked on as I type. (As are thousands of other journals.)

This is great news. We have access to new journals as they are ready and will receive updated journals when they are done. I've been spending quite a bit of time lately adding my tags to all these journals. What a blessing!

To back pedal a bit: "Thousands" is most likely overstating the case but between L6 and the MJB we'll have produced and/or updated approximately 1400 volumes.

Are you sure you shouldn't add a zero to that?! [:P][;)] No..., I'm seriously grateful for the journals that are available!

Thanks for you're response, Kyle, and yes, you correctly discerned my situation. Can we expect that the missing hyperlink in BSac 138 (which I assume was the culprit behind not getting a search hit) will be fixed as well, and not only the additional tagging?

    Blessings!

    Whew...that's good to hear.

And to answer your question: there's going to be a bunch of things that will be updated. Things you probably haven't even noticed ... yet. (One of the biggies will be adding bibliographic milestones. This will greatly improve your ability to cite the resources.)

Thank you. Really appreciate the ones that are already completed and eagerly anticipating the rest.
