[resolved] 6.3 still wants to restart app

I thought the update was supposed to process new resources without wanting to restart. I'm still getting the notice that resources will be added when the app is restarted. It seems to index somewhat beforehand so it's baffling. And since it is no longer a click to restart it becomes an extra step to close and manually restart.

My guess is that something still allows compatibility with older versions hangs up with Logos 6.3.

FWIW seems to happen on Win and Mac for me.

There are two conditions where the program is still expected to need a restart. 1) When resources which are being updated are currently open in your layout (even if that's simply a commentary that's showing up in a passage guide). 2) If there are program updates (as opposed resource only updates).

If you are convinced that your situation does NOT fall into one of these two categories, then you'll want to start troubleshooting.

Reuben nailed it. Usually the only time something is going wrong is if the restart message doesn't go away after restarting the application. If that happens (or you are generally concerned), you will want to post your logs.
