Opening New Resources in Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro

I was totally frustrated by the fact that changing a resource in one of the two "windows" of my Samsung tablet seemed to have no rhyme nor reason.  Sometimes I would select a new commentary, and it would open in the opposite window I desire, and so forth.  But Kevin at Logos gave me a tip that served me well and answered my question.  Here's how to do it.

At the bottom of the devotional reading screen is a scroll bar that with a half-moon shaped object that you can drag to the left or right to vary the size of the two windows.  For my purposes I have a commentary open on one side and a NRSV on the other side.

1) Tap on the "window" that is active and for which you desire the new resource. (The tool bar at the top of the screen applies only to the active window, i.e., the window with a blue progress line at the bottom. Ahhhh.... This is a VERY important piece of information.)

2) Tap the top left corner of the tool bar (3 horizontal lines) to find the resources available for the active window. Select your resource.

3) Voila. It will open in the active window. This is the piece of esoteric wisdom I needed.

Hi - and welcome to the forums

I Have A Samsung galaxy tab Pro 12.1 and I do not want two screens when reading the Bible how do I get only one screen when I'm reading?

You should see a small semi-circle at the bottom (or right depending on which way you have the tablet) where the two panels intersect. You should be able to "drag" this to the edge and just end up with one panel open
