I am disappointed that we don't have evernote function in Logos. Look at Accordance: http://www.accordancebible.com/Accordance-2-Evernote
I am surprised this is not a requested feature for Logos 6/7.
Kevin, it has been requested repeatedly and often for at least the last six years. There are a number of UserVoice threads about it as well as threads here in the forums.
Ain't gonna happen. (At least, that's the last I heard on it from any equine's dental stoma.)
Kevin,
There are a few uservoice requests to add some Evernote features:
I use Logos with Evernote some. Manually copying and pasting is so easy with Evernote, I can't quite imagine the advantage or need for fuller integration. If you choose to submit this to the uservoice, make clear what the advantages would be.

For the record, this is for Accordance mobile, I don't think you can do it from the desktop software. If you can, I haven't found the feature.
Sure, it works from the desktop version of Accordance, too. Here's OS X:
It works in Windows, too, but it's kind of a two-step process:
For what it's worth, the same tricks work for Evernote and Logos, too, but who am I to teach anyone how to use Logos?
;-)
To get text into Evernote, select it, type Ctrl-C to put it into the clipboard, then Ctrl-Alt-V to add a new note with that text to Evernote.
Just as fast or faster as selecting from a menu once you get it down!

Does EN need to be open or will this open the file and insert the note?

The Evernote taskbar app need to be open in the Windows taskbar. I have it just startup with Windows (which I think is the default when Evernote is installed).
When you type Ctrl-Alt-V from anywhere in Windows, a new Evernote note will be created. The title will be taken from the first words, and the destination folder of the new note can be configured from the Options, in the Clipping tab.
Fr. Devin I use Evernote heavily, and when I do this trick it dumps the new Note in whatever Notebook was last open, which for me would frequently be wrong as I have notebooks for categories. I know I can then bring up Evernote, to the the menu, and do a Move to different notebook, but that's a lot of steps.
When I have the EN icon on my Chrome tool bar it just brings up a little clipping window, I select the notebook from a drop down if it did not guess it correctly (which at least 80% of the time it does, amazing!), and then I click to save.
Unless I am missing an easy way to specify which notebook, to me the Ctrl-C/Ctrl-Alt-V approach is a lot of steps. Do you file things in different notebooks?
I use different notebooks.
The key is understanding how these options work:
If you use a lot of notebook, you want to make sure you have the option to "Use selected or default notebook." Then, open up Evernote, and simply select a notebook, so that you are only seeing notes from that notebook. Any note you create with Ctrl-Alt-V will be added to that notebook. Want to switch notebooks? Easy. Just select that Notebook and new notes will go there.
If you always use the same notebook, you can also choose that from the options there.
I agree this is not quite as nice as the Evernote Web Clipper functionality, but it is quite usable once you understand how it works.
