Finally, Morris Proctor manuals are now available in digital format!

You can now have the Logos 6 manuals in your library. Just think how great it will be to search these manuals right in Logos 6.

If you already have the paperback format, would you need to pay full price to get the digital?

I've been buying the manuals Direct from Morris Proctor in PDF format. I had to sign my life away promising not to give copies to someone else. This is a lot easier and they are searchable in logos.

Couple of questions:
- Is this a logos resource, PDF, or other format?
- Any intentions of having dynamic pricing? [I would not have purchased the dead tree versions given this choice]

This is a Logos resource. I almost bought the paper version myself thinking it was a logos resource. I think dynamic pricing would be fair!

You know this because you have already purchased and downloaded it? If so, cool!

Yes but $279 it's a lot more than $49.95 and I've already been to Morris Proctor's Live classes.

They seem to have the same ones separate for 50% off $14.95 each.

I think they are the same as the link above but could be mistaken.
I already printed out my page 25 of volume 2 but digital will be nice for updates.

I owned the paperback (dead tree [;)] ) format. In anticipation of the digital version as a runner-up, I posted this:
https://community.logos.com/forums/p/103305/714140.aspx#714140 for people like us to at least have the digital version ex-gratia or next to nothing price.
Now, one feels like being chewed at both ends .... a happy beginning with a sad ending. [:@] [:'(]

I'd been waiting for Morris Proctor to release his manuals in digital format since Logos 4 and put off buying the paper version. I finally broke and purchased them for Logos 6, only to have them released in Logos weeks later. [:(]
If there were some kind of discount, I would probably purchase it again.

They were discounted 50% off for a couple of hours due to some kind of error on logos part. Some of us got to take advantage of that error.

Thanks to SHotchkiss I got in on that deal.

Aloha an good evening.
Count me in as well. I would not have purchased the printed version if the digital version was available or even announced.

I just purchased the paper version as well and got one of the copies with errors. At minimum, a steep discount for the digital copy seems reasonable to me for those who bought the paper, but I can't help but wonder why either Morris or Faithlife would object to providing the digital copy free to those who paid for the paper version. I.e. What will it cost them?

My manual has the error in it as well.

Exactly my sentiments !! Provide the digital copy free to those who paid for the paper version or at least for a nominal pricing.
Timely as it may be, there were some issues of the Free Book of the Month (June) where Faithlife is addressing and hoping to make amends to those who previously paid for some resources and part of that which are now provided free. For further interest, you may want to read this .

Whether or not this is possible depended upon the contract between Faithlife and MPSeminars.

I ordered my paper manuals directly from Morris Proctor, so that probably won't have any impact on Logos offering me a discount. Nor should it, since Logos has no record of my purchasing the manuals or received any payment from me.

True. But a little goodwill (whether on the part of MP, Faithlife, or both) can provide a lot of marketing mileage--especially on such a reasonable request, and especially, especially for those who got the copy/version with errors. Providing the digital copy to those who just bought paper seems like a win/win. [:)]

What about providing paper copies for everyone that bought digital? I know. Silly, isn't it?

I suspect the cost of printing and shipping paper might be just a tad higher than digital. [;)]

I work in the computer industry and buy many books from the BN and Amazon type places. Many have disks in them that have electronic versions of the book (and sometimes more). It is very rare that a person has to pay full price for both.
Yes, I think that someone who buys it electronically should be able to get a print version highly discounted to basically cover their cost and shipping. You should not have to pay full price all over again to get it in print. I think the people who bought it (and may have paid for the production of the resource) in print should at least be able to get the digital for a very highly discounted price especially if we expect to get a plastic holder to stick in the back of our book with the CD in it (which I don't).

Just so we don't lose focus, paper versus digital version or vice versa, since paper came first (no pun intended [:P] ), the proposal is for FL/MP to add on the digital version to our resources in Logos. This does not involve any shipping or even much additional costs.
I am aware of an earlier post about possible licensing restrictions between FL and MP, but obviously it is not beyond redemption.
FL/MP - comments, comments ??

I have already purchased the paper manuals and the digital version. Should I get a refund for the digital version?

I am glad to see the manuals not in digital format. But this late in L6, I am not planning on purchasing. I hope when L7 comes out, Morris Proctor will have a digital version early on.

I think Logos 7 ought to include a digital manual. If they have to raise the price $30 it is fine with me.

Aloha and good morning once again
Tuesday evening I sent the following to Logos Customer Support:
Will there be special pricing for Logos 6 Training Manuals (digital) for those of us that have purchased the print version?
And I just received this response:
As far as I know there are no additional discounts available for this, if you maybe give us a call at 1-800-875-6467 and ask for our sales team they may be able to work something else out but there are no guarantees on that. Thank you and have a good rest of your day.
Looks like out of luck on this.

Hmmm ... sounds like when vinyl went digital. Actually am I the only one very disappointed in the manuals because of their lack of linkage?

So far as I can tell the Table of Contents is the only navigation linkage.
