Dock Icon Trouble

Hi everyone,
I could use the help of someone with a bit of Mac know-how. I was playing around yesterday with changing the app icons on my Mac Book Pro (OS X 10.10.3). Logos didn't feel like playing very friendly with me. After I changed the icon in the 'Get Info' window for the app, it would continually revert to the original icon upon launching Logos. But the original icon had a little arrow in the lower left corner like when you make an alias. I tried changing the icon again and this time I killed the dock in Terminal. Now, whenever I launch Logos and then subsequently quit the app, the dock gets killed every time. Oddly enough, when I remove Logos from the dock and run it out of the Applications folder, the problem disappears.
Any suggestions on how to make this work rightly again? And yes, lesson learned: don't play around with things like changing icons unless you're prepared to deal with the consequences.
Thanks,
Matt

You didn't do anything wrong, this is a known issue: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/105198.aspx
It has to do with changes they made to make it so that you don't have to restart Logos after downloading new books.

Thank you. I should have troubled to poke around the forums...looks like this was talked about even recently.
The thread you posted allowed me to go in and update the dock icon in the package contents where the multiple versions are listed. Now everyone is playing nicely.
