The hyphenation is performed algorithmically (i.e., as opposed to using a hyphenation dictionary), so there will be times when it chooses the wrong place to hyphenate a word.
We can investigate whether the algorithm can be tweaked. In the meantime, you can avoid it by turning off "Justify Resource Text" under "Text Display" in Program Settings.

Think those are bad? I've seen these from time to time as well:
(NIV84 Genesis 50:26)
The algorithm should at least preclude breaking a word with only one letter remaining.
