[resolved] Moving a note to a different document file

So how do I do this? For instance, when viewing the document file where I keep my notes attached to Genesis references, I found a couple of notes that were attached to Exodus references and had mistakenly been put in the Genesis file. I thought it would be an easy thing to move the note from the Genesis file to the Exodus file, but can't seem to find a way to accomplish that. Suggestions?

If you have both Notes files open you should be able to drag a note from one to the other by dragging the note icon

So how do I do this?

Hold your mouse over the note icon you wish to move, and drag it into the other file (have both files open at the same time as in the screen shot below (I tried to insert a video, but no go)-

Doc B -- I agree with you that we need a manual. The people on the forum have been really nice and very helpful to me while I've been trying to learn this program, but a manual would solve a lot of problems way, way faster.

The wiki is only helpful when someone gives you a link to the appropriate place (the page you cite above is buried in the Logos 4 area, and we are in Logos 6 (or is it 7?), for example). I don't forget the wiki, but I almost never go there...it takes too long to find what I need.

We need a manual.

The help resource that comes with the application has this to say about notes documents: "Move notes between two open Notes documents by dragging and dropping a note from one document to the other."
