[resolved] BUG: Logos 6.4 Beta 2 is crashing during install
BUG: Logos 6.4 Beta 2 is crashing during install.

In cases like this is the Web App in Logos Now worth a lot! [:D]

I'd recommend starting to a blank layout and not opening the Information Panel.

I took me some start ups until I managed to select a blank layout before Logos crashed.
It would be great with a "Start up to a blank layout" option in the "Press Ctrl during startup" dialog when suffering this kind of issues.

Some instruction would have helped! When you start Logos with CTRL key held and then Sign-in, it automatically opens to a blank layout.

In the beta forum, I assume (by default) a higher degree of familiarity with the software, the OS, and general troubleshooting. You're welcome to ask for clarification if you're unsure what a particular instruction ("enable logging", "get a crash dump", "open to a blank layout", etc.) means, but by default I'll assume these are things you know or can find out.

I tend to do that also, Bradley. But 5 years of "open with CTRL key, select Blank layout" conditioning are difficult to overcome[:)]

I had forgotten it had changed in Logos 6 until you brought it up, so even if I had supplied instructions they probably would have been wrong. [:)]
