[request] Shortcut toolbar icons

I have created several layouts and saved them to the shortcut toolbar. Several of the images have been used already.

My question: Is it possible to add additional images to the selection of available images when right-clicking on the default image on the shortcut toolbar? I would simply like to add a few more lettered icons, such as the letter "S" or "T".

Mike, that pallete of icons is fixed. It would be nice to have more of them.

Michael, sorry you can't do this but I have often wanted to do it myself. Maybe a future version release will allow them to be customized.

But you can do text only which allows you to use capital letters as icons

Thank you, MJ. I have considered that workaround, however, for no other reason than aesthetics, I was hoping to be able to create an icon similar to those already supplied in the palette. I do appreciate your response, though!

This has also been on my list (here) for quite a while. I think we should be able to import .jpeg, .bmp, .png, etc as well as access our system "character viewer."

Given the limited toolbar real-estate, however, I wish that some icons could be dropdown menus that would house multiple items. For example, I'd want one dropdown to contain all the books that I haven't started but really wanna read, and another would contain my books "in progress."

Sounds good for Logos 87 but we should have had it in Logos 6 [:O] Many of the features like Favorites/Bookmarks, Prioritization are antiquated

I came back to the post today and found some great follow up! I agree it should already be a part of Logos. Hopefully it will be added soon as a regular feature of Logos. The idea of dropdowns is also a very good idea since the amount of room we have is understandably limited. I've added my voice to the UserVoice thread, also. Like many folks here, I've spent more money than I care to admit on Logos over the years and while I have seen some improvements, I've also seen the loss of some good features that existed previously during the Libronix days such as using regular expressions for searches. Now, in the interest of profits, which is not always a bad thing, many features that should be included in the base package, like the concordance feature, are now part of an additional charge of $8.99/month. I am digressing somewhat here, but feel the little things like being able to add our own icons, including the system icons, is really not too much to ask for and actually demand from Faithlife, formerly Logos and formerly Libronix. Just my two cents worth.

I agree with what you've said here, and have been saying the same things for a couple years, mostly with a lot of pushback from folks in the forums, but it is encouraging to see more people (customers!) who are starting to agree with me.
