Is there a way or a plan to make it possible for an MS Word file to be imported into the 'documents' feature in Logos? Thank you!

Welcome to the Logos forums!
The way to import MS Word documents into Logos is via the Personal Books feature, not the "Documents" menu. Read all about Personal Books on https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books. You don't have to add any of that special syntax described there. Just go to the PB tool, add a new PB, give it a title, and optionally a cover image, add the Word document in question as a "body file" and then Build the book, and voila, you've got it in Logos, fully indexed for searching. If you want to get fancier, you can put in milestones, and links and such. But just getting started with a plain Word document is the way to learn and you'll be able to explore further later.
