Faithlife, recently you have been organizing my library for me:

  • ancient literature section
  • sermon section
  • journal section
  • systematic theology section ...

I've heard hints that you are working on:

  • improved liturgy section
  • creeds & confessions section
  • catechism section (or is that wishful thinking?)

What I haven't heard and we really need is

  • Bible study monograph section - those books that concentrate on particular passages indexed by those passages

May we have the latter soon, please?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I agree, and have attempted to make a collection of these type books to use in the guide, such as...

type:monograph AND publisher:(t&t, Pontifical,JSOT, JSNT, sheffield, cambridge) OR tag:"biblical studies" -publisher:scrib -series:("world of the aramaeans", "bible guides", Barth, "history of", doctrine) -author:"John Owen"

but obviously I still have to minus several individual resources and I'm sure I'm also forgetting to include alot of them as well. I was hoping someone on here has made a better biblical studies collection.  But even then, a designated section of the guide would be very nice:-)
