[unresolved] BUG: stuck in a loop

While today logos was downloading and synchronising, my internet connection on Wifi went off, due to problems with the provider. When I after a couple of hours had connection again, I see that 2 resources are ready to be installed after restarting, so I restarted, and got the same message and that went on for 4 times I restarted, so I concluded that I'm stuck in a loop. Is there anyway this can be sorted, has anyone encountered this sort of problem before? Also the handy button which was there before you could click to restart has disappeared, would be nice if that was restored.

In Home page, top right, is there an Update notification for the resources? Alternatively, can you see resources in the Last Updated column of Library that were updated today (click to sort the column)?

Dave, I can't check this at present. when I wet on line with the notebook this morning, I got the warning of my battery running low, so I put the electricity on to charge it again. Twice the screen went black and the orange light which indicates that the battery is charging is blinking madly, so I have the sneaking feeling that I do have a battery problem as well and might need a new battery. I have to wait till Tuesday when my computer shop is open to have it all checked. Only after that I can check what you suggest. In the short period on line though I noticed that Logos was indexing, so perhaps that needed to finish first before the 2 resources which according to the blue icon were ready to be added are in the waiting queue. .

After indexing completes and another restart there should be an update notification on Home page, and no notification in the main window!

Nope, it transpired at the computer shop that the adapter was a goner and now I am awaiting new adapter from asus which will take a fortnight to be delivered at my place. Only after that I can see what my Logos library on the note book is doing. So patience is called for.
