[resolved] Logos 6 Freezing While Highlighting
Good morning,
Logos 6 is freezing when I try to highlight certain passages. This morning it was Proverbs 5:21-23. I was able to reproduce this one 2 different machines both running Logos 6.3 SR-1.
This happened yesterday as well on a different passage in Proverbs but I don't remember which one.
The first machine is a Surface Pro 3 i5/8gb ram/256gb SSD configuration.
The second machine is a Lenovo T440 i7/8gb ram/256gb SSD configuration.

Wanted to chime in a say that I am not able to reproduce the problem on Verbum 6.3 SR-16.3.0.0056. I'm using the NABRE and was able to highlight without issue the passage mentioned.

OK. I figured out that it's related to a particular Layout I've been using. Here's the log so far. The program is still frozen so it's still logging.

I will let a full fledged techie take a look at the logs... sometimes, however, layouts just get corrupted and need to be rebuilt. Have you tried doing so? Even if the layout hasn't been corrupted and the issue lays elsewhere, you might be able to figure out the trouble by building the layout bit by bit and experimenting.

The logs are not sufficient for freeze/hang issues but rebuilding your layout should fix this type of non-recurring issue.
