Resources indexing taking all day.

Hello,

I am running windows 7 and logos 6.4.3 Beta and the indexing for the last two days has taken all day and keeps showing 0% complete.It seems to download the resources but I am not sure if the indexing ever finishes. Thank you for any assistance.

Each time I have had similar problems, I use the "Rebuild Index" command and it runs a full indexing. Not sure if that may help you.

Please read the wiki article again. The Logos Log files folder should contain a number of files, so zip the folder to get them.

Is the indexer running - you would see a blue icon in the Windows Taskbar notification area or from hovering the blue notification icon at top right of the Logos window.

Yes the blue circle is visible and has a 1 in the middle. It says it is indexing and is 0%complete. This amount has not change at all.

Yes, you did. It appears the indexer is not running - do you see the Logos indexer icon in the Windows Taskbar as well as in the Logos window?

I seem to be having the same problem with Indexing. The blue circle has the number 1 but doesn't move from the "Your library is Indexing. (0% complete)" even when I have it on for hours. It seems to begin indexing and complete after a restart or two. Can you see if I have an issue?

Today I have had three restarts to see if the indexing will complete but it "crashes" at "0%" each time. anyone can help with these earlier log files

Sorry for not seeing this earlier this week. The logs show an access is denied error. I would recommend following the steps on this article to help resolve the permissions issue you are encountering. That should get you all taken care of.

Thank you Steve, that has fixed it and the indexing is working "seamlessly" now.
