I have tried holding down the alt key and double clicking icon but doesnt work.
Try holding down the Ctrl key and then clicking the icon.
And any particular reason you are wanting to force Logos to work offline?
Not working for me, I have tried holding down alt key and single and double clicking icon, just launches like normal.
I like to use it at bible study class and there is no wifi available there.
As I suggested use the "Ctrl" key not the "Alt" key
If your laptop is not connected to the Internet Logos should just run in "offline" mode anyway. Is this not happening?
Sorry, meany ctrl key. Im at home now using laptop and desktop, just dosconnected from wifi and it works.
I had my kindle at bible study the other night and the app wouldnt work without conneection, guessing its just the app itself which must be online, make sense since your books wouldnt be stored on the device. You do have the option to download books to the device just for reading purposes. Guess I will be taking my laptop to bible study now.
Thanks Graham.
Excellent

Yes, the mobile apps do work differently. If you have the Logos app on your Kindle (I assume Kindle Fire) then you can download resources for offline use (as you note) and you can do some things - such as basic searching and making notes / highlights - when offline. Other things such as running Guides and Text Comparison do require an Internet connection to work
