(resolved) Highlighting not working (and other oddities)

All of a sudden, highlighting is not working on my Logos Windows version within the NKJV.

I set a shortcut Y for yellow ages ago (which worked) and now its not working. Using the Highlighting tool and keeping that open to no avail too.

Sigh...it astounds me continually that basic functionality is forfeit in this expensive software that seems to routinely ignore basic tasks.

I am using a Surface Pro (yup an original I5) and Logos Windows 6.0.

Highlighting...today...simply not working.

Even more bizarre...I just rebooted Logos and randomly opened to end of Malachi...notice all the weird stuff in Matthew nearby.

What is going on please? Why does Malachi look one way and Matthew another please?!!!

I'm not sure about your second problem, but when I uncheck the "Notes" box under visual filters, the highlights disappear. When I put a check mark in the "Notes" box, they show up.

I dislike being sour grapes but more and more I find this software tool is NOT intended, designed, meant for, upgraded for common users.

They need a "dummy mode" for frustrated users like me.

I do not understand why my highlighting has disappeared and why on the same screen I suddenly have two formats going...very odd.

The second picture is showing the Louw-Nida numbers. These are only for the New Testament. Turn them off under your inline interlinear options.

Rick...I turned that Louw-Nida thing off and it did the trick for the difference between the OT and NT...thanks.

Maybe that weirdness is only available in NT????

No idea why my highlighting is gone...just something (for one of the enemy's minions) to further annoy us normal users I guess.

Yes, the Louw-Nida is only for the New Testament.

Have you tried highlighting in another version with the "Notes" option checked? I'm curious if it is just for the NKJV or all of them.

As if by magic...highlighting has returned...including the things I tried to highlight before that did not show up.....very weird....Logos gremlins/minions I guess.

Thanks for walking with me on this weird one Rick. Just one of those flukes I guess.

I wish that Logos developers would revamp/improve basic functions so they work consistently as expected while they dream up Logos Now items and other things I will - sadly - never want or use.
