SUGGESTION: My Sermons section

It would be nice to have the user Personal Book sermons display in a manner parallel to the Sermons section. I am specifically thinking of users who collect others' sermons as well as their own.

For this to work the user would need to be able to enter all the metadata required for the sermon section. From a post by Mark Barnes, I believe that the Logos Sermon label carries the following information:

  • Title
  • Subtitle
  • Creator
  • References
  • Date
  • Liturgical date
  • Series

From the behavior of the Sermon Starter Guide, I suspect that Theme and/or Topic is also coded in some manner.

From the wiki, I believe the following are available as metadata in the Personal Book Sermon/Illustration support. They correspond to the sermon data as shown:

  • Sermon file type - sermon only
  • Passages = References
  • Speakers = Creator (?)
  • Topics = Themes
  • Tags
  • Date = Date
  • MISSING Liturgical date
  • Venue
  • MISSING: Series

The Personal Book list would require the additional data before a My Sermon section would work - liturgical date is already a critical need.

Together with a user-supplied macro for the docx document that establishes the metadata fields for a new page which would more closely mimic the L3 input experience, this could get the Sermon function back to desirable to use.
