Are Faithlife notifications supposed to push to my device?
According to the app settings it would seem like notification should function like the notification from any other app. In other words, they should be real "push" notifications whose behavior I could customize. I'd expect notifications to show up in the notifications center in OS X as well. Is this a current limitation, or am I just doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Are you referring to the Faithlife Groups app, or?

As with nearly every mobile app that's ever been created, push notifications can be disabled.

I assumed that was an Apple requirement to allow and default to off.
Mine are all off. Clean.
But ignoring that, the watch idea sure makes sense for busy Christians. I, myself, would glance at a Logos hebrew of the day.

Yes, I have the Faithlife Groups App, FSB app, and Bible! app as well as a Macbook which supports push notifications. Nowhere do I "get" notified. On mobile I have to open the groups app and browse to the correct place (which experience needs enhancement), and on L6 I have to open the home screen which I rarely do!

I definitely don't want push notification from all my groups, but I'm the admin for a couple groups and want to be notified immediately when e.g. someone in a group posts a question. The way I read your response "As with ... push notification can be disabled" you seem to be implying that push notification should work when turned on. Is that right?

First off, I should mention this forum is meant for the Reader Suite (Bible, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso, Verbum, Biblia, LigonierRSB and Noet). The Faithlife Groups forum is where you should post issues for that app, and there's a Logos 6 forum for the Desktop Logos 6 app.
That said, I'll do my best to answer. The Faithlife Groups app supports push notifications (in the latest beta) in a true iOS sense - you get the red circle on the app icon when you get a notification. I tested this myself on Monday and it works (in the beta). I don't know the release cycle for the Faithlife Groups app or exactly when this was implemented - that's a good question for the Faithlife Groups forum.

This is no longer the case with the latest beta.

Please post about this on the Logos 6 Desktop forum.

Per-group notification settings have been supported for a while now. In your faithlife.com account just open Account Settings and then Notifications - it's all there if you poke around. The way I read your response "As with ... push notification can be disabled" you seem to be implying that push notification should work when turned on. Yes, of course - and it works well in the latest beta that I tested. However, as I previously mentioned I don't know the release cycle for the Faithlife Groups app or exactly when this was implemented.
I'll chat with the Faithlife Groups dev team tomorrow to find out.

Thanks for your reply Kevin!
First of all, am I understanding correctly that push notifications are not supported in the Faithlife Study Bible? Groups (and notifications) can be accessed in the FSB app, why not push notifications? I would love to see the FSB app include a few of the tools from Bible! as well as shared prayer lists (from Groups), so that FSB could be a one-stop-shop for the majority of users.
I want to get my church "hooked" on Faithlife groups, but with the need to use at least two if not three different apps, this is a hard sell.
For the time being, however, I'd like to try out the F.Groups app beta. I'm in the Bible! beta, but can't seem to find a way to join the beta program for the rest of the apps. Any pointers?

Correct.

Push notifications were just added to the Groups app (in the beta) and I'm not sure whether similar push notifications are on the radar for the other Reader apps.

Each TestFlight app has it's own list of invitees, I'll add you to the Faithlife Groups list.
