Eidon / ὁράω

I am comparing two verses:
John 20.8, "He saw and believed"
Joshua 7.21, "When I saw..."
In looking at the LXX of the Joshua verse, it has Eidon and the lemma as ὁράω
John 20.8 is also Eidon, but the lemma is listed as Eidon
Shouldn't Eidon have the same lemma in all cases?

They are actually two different Greek words. Both are very ancient words and they are used for different tenses. If I remember correctly Spanish has a couple of ancient verbs that act this way. It is usually very common words such as "I see" or "I say" that you will find this happening.
