I don't know what to say other than this: if it is a software update, you could try manually downloading the new engine. Sometimes that has to be done... thankfully not too often.
I don't know if this means anything or not, but after the update ribbon disappears, my library has a ribbon stating it's updating, but nothing ever changes.

Set permanent logging per the wiki and then manually update to SR-2.
Thanks for all the replies. I called customer service on Friday and they determined that my problem was that a Windows update did not update properly which resulted in Logos not being able to update either. Once that was resolved, Logos was able to update to SR-2.
Unfortunately, during my conversation with customer service, they tried uninstalling Logos, which meant I had to download and re-index everything. Since I hadn't backed up Logos recently, I had to go through this entire process.
I was able to access Logos on my Kindle Fire this weekend, so the withdrawals weren't too bad.
Everything is working fine again now.
