Latin titles for Philo's Hellenistic works???

Perhaps someone would have insight into this, why would Philo's work in the Greek edition (Borgen, Peder, Kåre Fuglseth, and Roald Skarsten. “The Works of Philo: Greek Text with Morphology.” Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2005) have Latin titles? Why would the Life of Moses be called a vita as in De vita Moysis when it is clearly Greek rather than Roman culture that characterizes Philo's rendition of the life of Moses?

I'm sure there is a Philo expert somewhere on these forums that can answer the question better than I.

That being said, it's incredibly common for Greek Language Texts to be better known by their Latin transliteration. This is especially true for many of the Greek Fathers. Now why that is ... I'll duck out and leave it to the experts.
