[resolved] Logos 6.3 not starting

On a Windows 8.1 notebook I have had no problems with Logos. But today I closed 6.3 to reboot the computer. When the computer came back up I tried to start Logos and nothing happens when I double-click on the desktop shortcut. I have tried going directly to the program .exe file. I get a message asking if I want to allow the program to make changes on my computer, but no matter what I do at that point nothing further happens.

I did reboot but that did not help.

Ideas? (I have Sunday School to teach tomorrow and would hope to have it running)

Do you know for sure that you were running 6.3, SR-2? If not, try downloading and installing the newest release.

Logs might possibly help. Or there could be useful information in Windows Event Viewer.

I checked with the Wiki to see how to download the newest release, installed that, and now everything is working perfectly. Thank you.

And thank you for the guidance on using the logs. That will be useful if I have some trials again.
