Are the Notes Documents Searchable?

Does anybody know if the Notes Documents show up in the Logos search results. For instance if my Notes Document contains a certain word like "Supralapsarianism" will the search results in the Logos Bible Software show this document containing this term?

If you do an "Everything" search (not just "All Resources") the relevant note file will show up in the "Your Documents" section of the search. It will not, however, give you a preview of the actual hit.
BTW, welcome to the forums!

It also does not highlight the search results in Notes, so sometimes it can be practically impossible to find the search hit in a longer note. What I do on the Windows platform, is Ctrl-A to select the entire Note, copy it to Word, and then search there knowing one or more hits were in that note. I bet you're impressed with that efficiency. I should have mentioned that once you open the notes Document you can hit Cmd/Ctrl F to narrow down the search to the individual note. If you have a crazy long note, however, you may find Don's strategy necessary! 😕
Making notes "truly" searchable has long been one of my wishes, and it's part of the list in my signature line (under the guides section).

One could do that on the Mac platform too, though it would be Cmd+A.
Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate when you've got to get out of Logos into Word to do what you want to do in the way of searching. But Logos isn't the only software I have to do that with. Still, I hope they address this weakness in a future version.

6.5 Beta 1 adds a list of hist for each note in a Note file (and Clippings) below the document name. If you don't want to install a beta, this feature will be shipping to everyone in the non-beta release of 6.5 on or around 10 August.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't do hit highlighting within the note. We hope to get that into a future version.
