Any help here
Perhaps you are talking about the font being blurry? (more words would be helpful if that's not the problem)
You can change the font being used in the Program Settings window, if you don't like the way it looks.
Font clarity is supposed to improve when Microsoft updates .NET later this year: http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_Default_font_is_unclear_on_many_set-ups
For what it's worth, my fonts aren't blurry or fuzzy.
Mine aren't as sharp as in the early releases
L4 isn't as sharp as L3 - I think I'll just have to wait till new .NET --thanks
Actually it doesn't look bad on my dell notebook. it's just fuzzy/blurry when I plug it into my external 24" monitor - nuts
If you change the font to Times New Roman, you may find it will look sharper. The Default font is a more complex font and designed to look best at higher DPIs.
Just as a wild thought, have you tuned/checked the use of Clear Type on your computer? I don't think you said what OS you use, XP there is a way to set it up but you'll have to Google clear type and XP. ON Vista and Windows 7 it's under Control Panel/Display, you'll see in the panel you can adjust or tune Clear Type - it gives you samples and you pick the one that looks the best.
This may help it look better..

On my XP system, turning off ClearType doesn't affect the text in Logos 4 (though it makes text in other windows pixelly). I think that the .NET Framework is ignoring that OS setting.
It doesn't. I remember reading a comment by Bob that said the .Net framework didn't use the ClearType setting.

I too have noticed in Logos that the fonts are not as clear as, say, on my word processor, or as I type this text, for example, in my browser. The edges of the letters in Logos, both in the controls and the resources, have a more fuzzy appearance. I have tried readjusting the ClearType settings on my computer, but to no avail. I have followed the link from Todd in post #2 regarding WPF 4.0 and Microsoft's example "clearly" [:)] shows a better result. See http://community.logos.com/forums/p/4326/35724.aspx#35724 and http://blogs.msdn.com/b/text/archive/2009/08/24/wpf-4-0-text-stack-improvements.aspx . I find it all very curious that Microsoft previously built the text stack the way they did.
But to the point, I need better clarity with my particular eyesight, and I know for the visually impaired it would be absolutely critical.
It's an important accessibility issue.
