Need Some Help on a Search

I'm trying to do a search of things that Jesus hates. Here's an example:

6 Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Re 2:6). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

I'd like to find the sense-hate rather than search on the actual word hate, so I pick up 'abhor', 'disdain', and similar ideas. All the search combos with Person and Sense have returned no results (not even finding the clear example above). After this search, I might want to run it again with any member of the Trinity rather than just Jesus.

Any ideas?

Searching for subject:Jesus verb-gloss:hate; to hate produces two results, only one of which (Rev 2:6) is what you're looking for. See image below:

I also tried a more general Bible search that looked for a broad range of words pertaining to hatred by using Louw-Nida numbers and a proximity search of NEAR. It brings up 12 verses, but, once again, only Rev 2:6 is what you are looking for:

I suspect that doing that for the Bible search will provide you with a lot more hits, but you will have to sift through them to eliminate the noise.

There are many topics, persons, and senses with God & Trinity but they equate to other aspects of God. But I wasn't expecting "Trinity" as a <Person> or <Sense>; only as a <Topic>

...which makes sense, since the Trinity is three persons. Yet the one God as Trinity is more than a mere topic, especially as they seem to speak as a person in a few instances. Perhaps there should be a <Sense>, if <Person> comes too close to violating Nicea?

There isn't separate tagging for God as Trinity, and God as Father.

You'd need (subject:Jesus OR subject:God OR subject:Holy Spirit OR subject:Angel of the Lord) AND (verb-sense:to hate)

If you have Logos now, you can use the Concordance tool to see all the "people" tagged as Supernatural Beings, to make sure you're not missing anything you want. Use an RI Bible, the "Biblical Entity" type, and select "Supernatural Being" under Kind.

This was a subject of much discussion within our curation team when we did the original tagging. While there are arguments for both sides, we decided not to tag the Trinity as a <Person> based on our preexisting parameters.

We have a policy of tagging referents as the original audience would have understood it (to the best of our knowledge).

As doctrine of the Trinity was not established until much later, we opted not to tag it as a <Person>.
