Howard Thurman was an African American preacher, theologian and philosopher born on the cusp of the 20th century. He was a very well known civil rights leader, but none of his work is on Logos. I'd like to see Jesus and the Disinherited (1949) in Logos, but he has tonnes of works and I'm sure it must be of interest to some US Logos users.
