NICNT (22 vols) on sale for under $300!

Or at least it's for sale for that price in the email I got this morning promoting the Father's Day sale.
Sadly, it's actually the 8 volume Pauline Epistles set that is for sale. Not quite as attractive!

You know you can edit the title of your post if it proves to be inaccurate, right? But you need to do it quickly because past a certain time, you can no longer do it. Since it proves that it is not the 22 volumes set perhaps it would be good indeed to edit your title accordingly. Just a suggestion.

I think that was his point. The email says "NICNT (22 vols.) on sale for under $300," but when you click on the link it sends you to 8 volumes.

I can empathize. I too recently got excited by an ad, and when I called sales to take advantage of it, I was told I couldn't have what was advertised because it linked to another page with a less attractive offer. The sales rep I spoke with talked to a supervisor twice but ultimately I did not get what was originally advertised. Logos giveth and Logos taketh away I guess. Seems marketing needs some better QA [:(]

I see, but the title is double-edged for it also takes others along in a disappointment of the same kind. You click on the thread expecting it to lead you to such an offer...

Hence I maintain better quality assurance is needed with marketing, and maybe this thread will help draw attention to that. I am sorry someone else had a disappointing experience, but maybe good can still come from it

Yeah still looking for a big sale on NIC. Ive been picking away at them since march madness, have about 1/2 of it.. But still would like a big sale. This sale on the 8 volumes is not very good only about 18% and most of the individual books on sale are 25-30+ % off.

Yes very deceptive email whether intentional or just bad QA. It would be nice if it was honored as advertised.

Indeed it was.
Logos should exercise far more care in their marketing, at times it is hard to determine what is a mistake, what is misleading, and what is just plain deceptive.

I assure you that the point was not to be deceptive, it was purely a mistake by Marketing and we sincerely apologize for any confusion it has caused.

Looks like a typo someone didn't catch when proofread. Stuff like that happens.

If accidentally sending out the wrong number of volumes in a promotional email is the worst thing Logos ever does, then I think we will survive.
