Summarized Bible Locked Away

I wasn't sure where to post this being a new forum user so I put it in Suggestions too.

Could Logos please unlock the summarized bible books from the Reformed, SDA, and Chaplain packages?  They used to be available for purchase separately but now it seems they are locked into certain packages. I don't know why anyone wouldn't be allowed to purchase certain items but that seems to be the case here.  I contacted Logos Support and I was told to post on the forums.

Products 25462 & 25738.  They can be found under the reformed starter bible surveys section.

    Hi Matt,

welcome to the Logos User forums! Sad to hear a favorite resource of yours is only available in packages - we usually can't do much about this (sometimes Faithlife listens to such requests and makes resources available for standalone buying).

Just to add some additional info here: the NT resource is found here: https://www.logos.com/product/25738/summarized-bible-complete-summary-of-the-new-testament EDIT: OT here: https://www.logos.com/product/25462/summarized-bible-complete-summary-of-the-old-testament /EDIT with the packages it is part of in the box to the right.

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

I am not sure why they suggested posting in the forums... [:s]

For clarification to others (I had no idea what you were talking about). Matt is asking why the "summarized bible" (Old & New Testament) is sold as a part of a base package only. The orange circle next to the item in a base package indicates that the item is "only sold as part of a base package."

Thank you for clarifying my post!  Logos Customer Support told me: "The best way to have your voice heard is to post about this issue on the logos forums."  I still have the email but I don't want to get anyone in trouble if that advice was wrong.  I'm just sad because these are two really nice books to have to see a super brief summary of a book and they used to be sold separately.  I don't know what screams Reformed, SDA, or Chaplain about them but I would think any package could benefit from these.

Now we are delving into the Mysteries of Base Package Content Selection.

I too was puzzled by this. It's not something that MVPs can help you with.

OK, that makes more sense. I guess their point was "we don't currently sell it apart from a base package, but you could post it on the forums [the Suggestions forum would have been the best place for this, rather than General; it could be moved later by a moderator] and rally support among other users, and perhaps we'll consider it in the future if there's enough interest."
