"Visual cue" when pressing a hyperlink in a note

In Verbum 4.6.2 if I click on a hyperlink to a Bible reference in a note, the open Bible (or preferred Bible if one is not open) goes to that point. All good so far

If the Bible is downloaded to the device an orange circle appears briefly to show where the verse is whereas if the Bible isn't downloaded it doesn't.

Is this intended behaviour?

It seems that the visual cue should appear in either case.  I'll write up a case.
