MAC "REPLACE WITH PASSAGE" BROKEN! In latest beta

With b5 the Mac paste for scripture in services is broken for me. Anyone else. Mac paste is such a bummer in Logos and I have called and complained and no one from Logos ever cares to reply. I am not complaining about the beta, I understand beta's break and that we use it at our own risk - it is just a year long frustration when I was told it would be fixed and never is.

Are you using a Mac? This is strictly a problem with the Mac version of Logos 6. It is still present in 6.4 Beta 5. Neither Copy Bible Verse nor Replace with Passage work.
This has been reported several time and acknowledged by FL, but no ETA for correction has been forthcoming.

Michael's tagline does say he is using a mac.
It's also working for me on L6.4 b5.
But, right now, "Replace with Passage" is a bit flaky. Twice, with 6.3 RC1 and 6.4 B1, it stopped working for me. Then, for no reason I could discern, it would start working again.
I've seen some people say that it started working after installing 6.3 SR1 or SR2. They thought FL fixed it, but FL never has actually said they fixed it.
I recommend checking the service from time to time to see if it has started working.

The entire paste process on Mac has been something flakey for my entire time on Logos. Even my phone calls are really never answered. It was working "OK" up until b5. It is my "prayer" that Logos will take this serious. I keep hearing it is a Mac issue but Online Bible, I very inexpensive app has it working great with formatting options. Accordance just made it work fantastic. With all the changes at FaithLife I would just like to see something done for this.
I have read all the posts on it. Paste is a big part of my workflow. I am on a Mac. The application is very expensive. If you say it works, it should work. I humbly submit.

We have a ticket open to look into this further. Thank you for bringing up your concerns.

Can you please provide more details in how this is broken for you? How are you trying to paste the scripture?
If you can provide steps that would help us out a lot to figure out what the issue is and see if we can reproduce it.

This should be working in the last couple of 6.4 Betas if you have updated to more than one version.

Mac OS 10.10.3 Logos 6.4 RC-1
It does not work, and has not worked in the last several releases. I thought Logos had acknowledged this bug, but had not given an estimated time of correction. Here is my setup:
I have clicked "Copy and Paste" multiple times without anything appearing in the open MS Word document. Those repeated attempts should show in this log archive.
1731.LogosLogs.jackcav.20150626-070943.zip
Clicked "Copy and Paste" 6 times while this sample was running:

"Replace With Passage" does not work either. The default Cmd-Shift-E keystroke is assigned by MS Word to "Track Changes". Changing the keystroke to Cmd-Opt-Ctr-Shift-R also does not results in the passage appearing in the MS Word document.
MS Word seems to clear the checkbox for "Replace with Passage" and reset the keystroke to Cmd-Shift-E. Perhaps this feature is not a Logos problem, but sabotage from MS [^o)]
Both these features are broken and have been broken for several releases of L 6.

This thread was about the "Copy Bible Verses" and "Replace With Passage" services, not the Copy Bible Verses Panel (I know it's confusing to have a Panel and a service named the same thing).

This works as expected for me in Word 2011 with the default keystroke of Shift-Cmd-E. Does it work as expected if you choose the option from the menu instead of the keyboard shortcut?

Which menu?

Neither service works for me. MS Word clears the checkbox for both services.

Here is what I see in the Services Menu
Nothing Logos connected. However, if I open Services Preferences and check the appropriate boxes—AND leave Services Preferences open.
Then, I only have CBV. But when I close Services Preferences
CBV goes away because Both checkboxes in Services Preferences have been reset.

I don't know what is going on with the services preferences needing to be open, but the "Replace with Passage" will only appear when the Bible reference is actually selected in the word processor (at least that is the case for me in Pages and Textedit). It doesn't look like you have the reference selected/highlighted.

That is because I took the screenshot with the focus on System Preferences rather than MS Word. The Passage address was selected. When I switched back to Word, CBV worked as long as preferences remained open. When I closed preferences, the checkbox for CBV reset.
Apple is replacing my disk tomorrow. Will see if anything changes after everything is restored.

Ah, that explains it. I couldn't imagine that you didn't know that. Hope the new disk and refresh solves your issue.
