Hello, everyone! First time poster here and Logos newbie.

In my personal notes, is there a way I can make a link to a resource that's not the bible? For instance: I would like to link the ESV Study Bible Note about Genesis 1:26 to my notes. I know I can just type "Gen. 1:26" and get a direct link to the verse. Is there a way to make a short link to Gen. 1:26 study notes in a similar fashion?

I am using the basic package, not sure if that matters.

Yes. But first, welcome to the forums.

Open the ESV SB notes to the place (see screenshot). Click on the resource panel menu and choose Copy Location As URL (A).

Now open your notes file, right-click in the note area, and choose Paste (B). The link to that spot in your ESV SB notes will be inserted into the note.

Works like a charm! Is there a way to rename the hyperlink to say "Gen 1:26 ESVSB Verse Note" or something like that? Or is it always displayed as the address?

Yes. Do the same thing as above to copy the link to your clipboard. Then, type in your desired text in your note and highlight it (A). On the toolbar above the note, click the little chain icon, and when the popup opens, right-click in the blank where it says 'hyperlink' and choose Paste (C).

You'll need to Ctrl-Click to follow the link. You can see the text from the ESVSB by hovering over your text.
