Irritating Behavior--Resource Update, Index, Restart, Index AGAIN... Then Crash

Started L6 to layout, normally.

L6 indicated a 50Mb update was ready; initiated download.

Upon completion of download, indexing commenced (or at least, L6 said it was indexing).

Indexing finished with notification that resources would be added to library on restart. This is irritating behavior #1. Why the change? It's always been added in the past, hasn't it?

Restarted Logos. Indexing started again! This is irritating behavior #2. Why pay this penalty twice???!!!!

Crash, & here I am...

Interestingly, there are no logs from the crash. Logs attached from some session 6/18, yesterday (no crash), prior to 1st restart after crash.

The next most recent logs are back in May.

EDIT: Started L6. Normal. No logs.
