When doing a word study on "compassion", one of the verses given as an example is Mt. 14:4, which I fail to see its relation.
Is this a mistake or am I missing the point?
Regards.
Hi Roy - and welcome to the forums
I am not at my computer at the moment so can't check but doing the study on my iPad gives verse 14 as opposed to verse 4.
Can you post a screenshot as per- https://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot

Roy, I assume that you mean you are using the Bible Word Study guide, is that correct? And if so, in which section does this verse appear? Is it in topics? If so, which dictionary entry? Tracking down the reference source would help to determine whether it is just a typo or whether there is a peculiar context that accounts for its appearance where you have it. It is most likely a typo and the correct reference Mt 14:14.
Screenshot provided - thanks!
Thanks Ron
This shows that the verse 4 link is in the Baker Encyclopedia entry - does anyone have the paper copy to check if it is the same there?
The screen shot shows a that the Logos is getting that quote from the Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible (BEB). That's where the typo is. I just submitted it as a typo in the BEB.
Thanks to all.
God bless and happy fathersday.
