How does Factbook determine what to show me?

I'm in the midst of preparing a lesson on the canon, I have used Factbook to find information relative to the study. Several times I have expressed aloud how great this tool is.......However I just now search on the book of Revelation and I notice how some of my best commentaries are not showing up in the sections.

So I have gone into NIGTC, Baker NTC, NICNT (WBC does show some sections) all of these have great info relating to Canon (or reception in the church) but it does not show up in Factbook. This makes me wonder what else is not being "mined"

Is this a tagging issue? If so it would be nice to have more high end commentaries tagged showing up on top of the list.

Here is an example:

You will see very plainly "Authorship" in the NICNT on the right but the "hits" in Factbook give me mainly bible dictionaries.....Maybe it is not suppose to look through commentaries first?????

Yes it is. Only some commentaries are tagged for use in this section. I understand Logos have prioritised the more popular commentaries, which tends to mean those included in base packages. That said, I have 503 resources in my library that have tagging for Bible Outlines, so it's more than a handful. The Factbook entries use different data to Bible Outlines, but I think it gives an indication of the sorts of volumes were talking about.

As I understand it, the data for these sections is stored in a separate dataset, rather than in the resource. So technically, it's not incomplete tagging, but an incomplete dataset that's been manually created (and hopefully is being manually expanded).

Thanks Mark. I wonder if it is ongoing because a Factbook search on 1 John brought up a "hit" from the NICNT, even though it missed others in the same volume (?). But maybe it's an ongoing project or a future Logos Now benefit.....

EDIT:Now that I am looking specifically I am seeing some searches on books of the bible do utilize some of these commentaries.....just sporadically.
