Those reading scripture in a liturgical setting have a responsibility to proclaim God;s Word effectively. While Verbum/Logos has several tools and resources to help us understand the meaning of the Word, there is little in terms of concrete advice as to how to proclaim the Word effectively. The website Lector's Notes has become the well-established site to get that advice. It also provides possible introductions to the readings, context of the readings, hints for proclamation and links to a number of useful sites. You can put the site on your shortcut bar to make it easy to access the site when you are on your lectionary layout.

1.  To make the link, open the site http://www.lectorprep.org/ in your browser.

2. Drag and drop the icon in front of the URL to your shortcut bar.

3. Hovering over the added icon will show that the link was successfully made; clicking on the link will open the site in your browser.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
