Bogus "You don't have a license to view this resource" message

In brief: Hoehner's commentary on Ephesians references Dan Wallace's Greek Grammar BEYOND the BASICS. I click on the linked reference. Every time, I get "You don't have a license to view this resource."

Except I certainly do have a license to view that resource.

What to do?

HI Daniel, I can check for you, I have looked at some of the Wallace footnotes and they work for me, but there are 150 of them - could be a bad footnote.

Can you say specifically which footnote you are seeing this with?

Also, if you (1) click on the footnote, and then (2) hover over the page number as I have below with page 629, what do you see?

What to do?

There are at least two different editions of this resource in Logos and probably Hoehner links to one you have no license for. Thisis a known problem fo all such cases. You may check the information of the file referred (it is given in the "You don't have..." tab) and verify the support info of your edition.

Don, I think that's the old version (last updated 2006) and Logos is currently selling LLS:GRKGRAMBBWALLACE

The point is that AFAIK when Logos introduced the new book (which is the same print edition, just different Logos files), they gave it for free to the owners of the old version and they should now correct every resource link pointing to the old one and replace it with a link to the new.

It's just that content production seems to either not be aware of those books affected or not getting down their list fast enough. See e.g. this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/102738.aspx

Ah that's the problem then - the Hoehner/Ephesians book is tagged to the old book - I happen to have both so it works. All the tags in the Hoehner/Ephesians book are GS_GGBTB, the old one!

Bummer, though, all those links being dead links! Lessens the appeal of having both resources in Logos!
