Print (export) using double sided setting?

i have logos 6 on a mac. when exporting something the window has the print button. when you hit print it goes straight to the printer with no option to change printer settings. i like to print things using both sides of the paper. to print double sided i have to export as a pdf (rather than print). i then open the pdf in preview and hit print, then click the checkbox for double sided.
is there a way to make logos show the printer options before printing?

Maybe it is different for Mac, but in windows there is a link that opens the printer properties for the selected printer

Tony, on a Mac, I do not see printer preferences as shown in the Windows version.

In the interim, can you export to Word and print from there?

I spoke to a developer on this, and the short answer is there is no easy way for us to display a print properties window similar to the Windows side.
Windows has an accessible short-version options window we can call, and Apple doesn't. The way it's implemented on Mac is that Logos just "tells the printer to print", using whatever the printer defaults are. You might be able to achieve double-sided printing going into System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and setting that as the default?
The other workaround, as you found, is to save as PDF and print from there.

here we are 10 years later- the problem still exists. logos tells the printer to print double sided now and there's no way to change it to single sided even though that is the system default setting on my mac.
logos never replied to the original question. i doubt it will reply now. i have contacted them directly. nothing. i have contacted them on social media. no response.
customer service is well and truly dead.

Dylan responded … but ages ago. It is odd, such a sophisticated app.
