I'm not quite sure what you are expecting, I expect when I look up bird to see the definition and count of the generic bird along with the indication that eagle, owl, sparrow, hummingbird, woodpeck, jay ... are hypernyms (kinds of birds). But I don't expect the hyponym to contain the hypernyms.

It seems to when running a search, I assumed the same was true for the count displayed in the lexicon itself
