BSL for "house" and "dwelling"
The BSL entry for house (sub-ordinate to "dwelling") has 698 entries
The entry for "dwelling" has just 44
I thought that as you went from right-to-left searches incorporated everything to the right.
Have I totally misunderstood how this works?

Looking at this further - while the BSL entry shows just 44 entries for "dwelling" when you do a search you get "815"
So the "hierarchy" seems to be working but it looks as though there may be an issue with what is reported within the Lexicon itself.

I'm not quite sure what you are expecting, I expect when I look up bird to see the definition and count of the generic bird along with the indication that eagle, owl, sparrow, hummingbird, woodpeck, jay ... are hypernyms (kinds of birds). But I don't expect the hyponym to contain the hypernyms.

It seems to when running a search, I assumed the same was true for the count displayed in the lexicon itself
