home page different ...

Hi, I was just curious as to why is it that when I get on my laptop and set it next to my desktop that the homepage on Logos do not look exactly alike. They have some items the same but not in the same place, but a lot of it is all different ... why?

Welcome to the forums, Diana.

The homepage on Logos is generated on your click, or on startup if you have it auto-start (I don't understand all the details, so I might be using a wrong term here); some of the items that show are going to be randomly chosen from your library, Faithlife's recent offers, etc.

The only way I know to make them identical is to uncheck everything in the show list.

The point of the Home Page is to show up-to-the-minute news and information. The sidebar on the left contains daily devotional to-do items which don't change from session to session (except to show today's items, to-do that is). The large main content area on the right is a mixture of items from news feeds (for example, Verse of the Day images, Faithlife TV daily segments, or stories from the Logos blog) that update periodically, daily updated items from your library (such as readings from any calendar-based daily devotionals you own), and some items selected from your library at random (excerpts from resources you own including media items).

You can customize what content shows up in the home page by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right of the home page screen.
