Early Bible Translations Collection (15 vols.) Useful for Non-Specialists?

It looks like the Early Bible Translations Collection (15 vols.) is ready to ship next month. I was wondering if anyone had any insights into how useful this might be for the non-specialist. I'm not questioning the value of the resource, but whether folks who are not language scholars would be able to use it profitably. I'm torn. It looks great, but I'm wondering if it's really a specialist collection.

Just for the record what was the CP price?

Had looked at it but decided that there was only one volume in it that I would use.

Even though the translations are old, if you have any interest in Byzantine and Eastern Bible traditions these should be useful - they are not original languages oriented on the whole.

I managed to lock in at the $40 CP price, but I'm torn myself if I should keep this or cancel it. I'm a Bible/Bibliology junkie, so I'm wondering if I'd benefit from these translations.

And don't forget the translations of the Targums (Targum Onqolos, Targum Pseudo-Jonathan, and Targum Isaiah).
