BUG: 6.4: Hidden resources say "You don't have a license to view this resource" + problems unhiding

If I click on a link to a resource I've hidden, a tab comes up saying "You don't have a license to view this resource."

As I recall, it used to tell you this resource is hidden and offer to let you unhide it. Am I imagining this? When did it change? I think the current behavior is problematic, whether or not my memory is correct that it used to behave differently.

Secondly, when I unhide a resource and restart Logos, the resource doesn't show up right away. In this case I unhid P18 and then restarted Logos, and I was not given a notice that I had resources to download. Here's the log file from that session after the restart.

I restarted again, and still no notice that I had resources to download. Log file:

It took restarting a third time before I got a notice that there was something for me to download. Maybe it was the elapsed time that was key (a few minutes), rather than three restarts. Either way, this isn't acceptable. When I unhide something, it should get unhidden and downloaded immediately (or at least on the next restart tell me that there's something to download).

Note that I have Automatically Download Updates set to "No" -- so I do expect to have to be told that there's something to download, and to manually click to get that started. But that should happen right away, not after three restarts and/or several minutes.

Try unhiding a resource and NOT restarting. You'll see the blue circle notification icon show up next to the sync icon, and after that goes away, the book will show up in your library.

I'll create a case for the other issue.

Like I said, I have "Automatically Download Updates" set to NO. I don't know if that affects the timing of everything. But for me, the blue circle notification takes so long to show up that I didn't realize it was going to and wasn't patient. Doing something like unhiding a book should give nearly immediate feedback. But when I tried it again just now without restarting Logos, it took more than 3 minutes for the blue circle to show up. That's way too long.

Ah, your update check probably takes a while to run, and there isn't a notification until after the update check finishes running. I'll create a case for this too.

I don't mind an update check taking a while to run when I explicitly call for "update resources"; I know I have a lot of resources and there's a lot to check. But if I unhide one resource, that is an immediate thing which should trigger the update icon. It doesn't even need to complete the update check (though eventually it should). It should know right away that I need to download (at least) that one resource.
