How does Logos crossgrade help me with Logos 6 silver?
Hi Diana - and welcome to the forums
Not exactly sure what you are asking but hopefully this will help
https://www.logos.com/compare?productIds=43519,45041 compares Silver and the Feature Crossgrade and, among other things, shows what the Crossgrade adds to Silver
Can you provide any more clarity on what you are looking for?
Graham
Adding to the helpful link Graham posted: a typical scenario is that many users want all the features and datasets contained in a Logos release, since this drives functionality. All these features and datasets are contained in Logos 6 Gold level base packages (which come with much more resources and thus are more expensive than Silver).
Buying the Crossgrade on top of Silver will be inexpensive (due to dynamic pricing one doesn't pay for those things already contained in Silver and may end up near $10 or $20 for the Crossgrade) but give all the features and datasets of Logos 6 that otherwise would require Gold. Which exactly that would be you can see when you follow Graham's link.
Hope this helps,
Mick
Thanks ... I did follow Graham's link and it was very helpful ... so was your explanation ...
Great to hear!
Thank you Graham that is a wonderful visual to help me understand, and thanks to NB Mick for that explanation ... both of those combined really helped me understand this.
Now my question is this ... on the visual chart ... they show what is on the base package, what is new to 6 and the roll over says that the green person is what I own ... is that me literally as it opens up in my account? Then the next column shows what comes with 6-silver, therefore the blue 6 in the first column (your price) shows what is new to ... 6-base or 6-silver? Also when they say 'base' is that the starter or the free base 6? I get confused with the use of their language.
ok, then does, 'you own this' mean that if it comes with your package you own it as opposed to subscriptions such as Logos Now and Logos Cloud?
Thanks a bunch ...
Diana
t the green person is what I own ... is that me literally as it opens up in my account?
yes
the blue 6 in the first column (your price) shows what is new to ... 6-base or 6-silver?
Logos 6 as opposed to Logos 5, 4 ... i.e. the release
Also when they say 'base' is that the starter or the free base 6?
'you own this' mean that if it comes with your package you own it as opposed to subscriptions such as Logos Now and Logos Cloud?
No. it means you already own a permanent licence to it (all the dots come with the packages shown in the respective column), Logos Now and Cloud are not reflected in these comparisons or anywhere on the website where things you already own are considered for dynamic pricing.
I personally use this comparison most often in the "new to you" view which shows me what I will get:
Awesome, NB.Mick ... all of what you wrote, really really helped!!! Thanks a bunch!
