It'd be great to have a quick highlight option in the Logos desktop software analogous to the tablet software.

    Welcome to the Forums!

    You can set shortcuts for highlights. For example, if "Y" is the shortcut for your "Yellow" highlight, all you do is select the text and press the shortcut (in this example "Y") and your selected text will be highlighted accordingly.
