Is this the new normal?
MBP Early 2013, OSX 10.10.3, 2.8 Intel i7, 16GB RAM, SSD
Logos 6.4 SR2
Open Spotlight - Type Logos and ensure that Logos is the top hit.
From hitting return to complete population of the home page 28 seconds.
2014 iMac OSX 10.10.4 i7 24GB ram SSD - but most importantly no fibre optic broadband :-(
Mine has just taken 25 seconds on Windows.
This does seem to be longer than before - although I rarely open to the Home Page (just done it to test this)
I note a period in the log (attached) where nothing seems to be happening for seven seconds:
