Hi guys,
I use Logos daily and it is a tremendous time saver. For the fun (as well as sentimental value) I did my sermon preparation last week using only physical books from my library (I have quite a number of resources duplicated in my physical library and my Logos library) so I ended up using quite a number of physical books which are also available in Logos. The experience reminded me quite acutely of how much time Logos really saves me weekly. After paging through multiple books and attempting to cross reference info I will not easily complain about the speed of Logos soon
Perhaps you should also attempt doing your research only in physical books for a change... it gave me a new appreciation for Logos.
Anyway, I "re-discovered" that some resources have extra information in footnotes, while others have it in end notes (either at the end of the chapter or the end of the book). I never thought about this until now since in Logos a simple hover of the mouse will reveal the info. However, in Logos it is not immediately visible whether the note, in the physical book, appears on the same page (footnote) or another page (end note). This brings me to my questions:
1) how do you determine if it is an end note or a footnote in Logos?
2) regarding referencing: how do you guys reference a footnote and an end note in an academic piece? If the footnote is on the same page, it is simple: you just reference the page number. But what do you do if the note appears on another page in the print edition? Do you reference that page, and how do you determine the page number of the note in a Logos resource?
Hope someone can help me.
