I added one book I purchased, it downloaded it, started indexing, and crashed . I restarted and it crashed again.
Log file attached...

If it matters, I just happened to do a Reindex just for grins yesterday after I updated to beta 6 (my first version of the beta). Worked a while today with no real issues..
OK now I am in trouble, I deleted all the index files in LibraryIndex, and it still crashes every time on indexing! Log file attached.
HELP!!!! Is there a new workaround or am I dead in the water now??

The new book could be corrupt, try deleting the book file for it. I'm not certain how to discern from the logs when a resource is corrupt (assuming that is the problem). Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
Alas, I tried that - the re-index worked fine on my desktop, crashing on my laptop. I tried copying the file over from my desktop (which by the way, had a date of Oct. 15, the one on my laptop was Nov 10! How maddening!), and it still crashes.

Silly - you knew that computers are electronic ... electricity and water don't mix ... at least it's not you who is dead.[:O]
Alive again! Ran it again, and indexing completed. However, Index file is only 302KB. Maybe it crashed again and I missed it.
Yep - stil crashes on indexing. It's not the index files/database, not the latest resource added.
I'll wait from Bradley to look at the logs I guess.

After the automatic indexing crashed, exactly how have you initiated a re-index?
EDIT: it looks to have crashed on the bible Index, which it does before the Library Index. If you deleted the library index each time there shouldn't be any files there now! You might try to delete the BibleIndex folder.
Ah you are very smart Dave! It just so happens on a hunch I deleted the BibleIndex last night, and deleted the small 302K Library Index, and then the way I re initiate the Index is just to run L4 - the index starts because there are no index files.
Lo I wake up this morning and the indexing worked! Both the regular and Bible index are regenerated and all is fine.
Thanks Dave, good analysis!
And a pleasing result.
