Look how far Logos has come in such a short time. Here are some old 2.0 screenshots. The fact that I remember these so well is scary
. . . isn't this Mac Alpha?
. . . isn't this Mac Alpha?Funny Dan , but not even close to the visual refinement and power of Mac Alpha
sorry . . . i have noticed an increased loopiness in my posts this evening. In direct proportion to the consternation regarding tomorrow's sermon on Peter's Confession/binding loosing (pleeeeeez re-loose me, let me goooooooo, iiiiiii am not tom jooonnnes)
Not to misdirect the this thread from the topic, but are there any posts in the forum or elsewhere that have screen shots of the Mac version of Logos 4? I thought I had seen something several weeks ago comparing the Mac and Windows colors and/or layout, but I could not find it again. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!
*** Update: I did find some Logos 4 Mac screenshots.
The article that those screenshots came from was written in 1996 by Harry Hahne, who is still here on the forums with us.
Thanks for posting the link to the article Todd. I neglected to put that in my post so thanks [Y]
Never mind 2.0, I remember 1.6! One thing which that could do, which more recent versions don't - it integrated automatically and seamlessly to provide scripture texts within 'WorshipMaster', the Church of England's then-current liturgy planning software.
If I could get Logos 4 and Visual Liturgy Live to do that I'd be happy...
It doesn't take much.

holy COW, how are are you???
A former elder in my church gave me a copy along with the KJV free unlock that he got from a bargan bin some years ago. Remember how long the indexing took...Like 30 minutes... It was very fast though overall, wasn't it. Do you remember this one that went along side? I have hoped it would come back, but word search is probably as close as we will get.
Yeah!!! That is what we need a Crossword puzzle maker!!! [Y][H]

I never got that but I remember having on Win 3.1 from Logos, can't remember exactly what is was called now, a separate devotional package. The floppies have long disappeared.. along with a floppy drive in my computer for that matter.
I obviously am a pack rat. I just last week came across my old Logos 2 (level three) disks still in their original rather tattered box. I did at least last year finally throw out my Wordperfect 5.1 disks and manual (a rather large notebook)!
Andrew,
Below is a link to some history of the Logos changes. And I believe there is a wiki page on the history of the different versions, packages, and contents.

I believe the devotional add-on was called "One Minute Bible"; but that may not be correct.
Are there any upgrade options for 2.0. My church was getting rid of their old 2.0 version from a past pastor. Is it worth my time to start with it and upgrade to logos 4 starting with these recourses?
Thanks

There's no published upgrade path from Logos 2.0. I would call Logos' Sales department (800 875 6467) with the old software in hand and ask about upgrade possibilities. They may tell you it would make sense to start with a new base package but you never know until you ask.

Welcome to the forums David. I suggest that you call Logos about this.
Welcome [:D]
Seem to remember upgrading Logos 2.0 to Libronix 3.0g using program update. Personally have Libronix 3.0g and Logos 4 installed on Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9. For installing Logos 2.0, suggest using Windows XP.
To transfer licenses from 2.0 version to Logos 4, suggest calling Logos.
Keep Smiling [:)]
