Is there a way to delete passage / exegetical guides yet?

I am cluttering my installation with junk from testing which is a bit of a bother when I try to do real work - especially since I'm checking the behavior of various translations that do (or don't) have particular passages or have variants of versification.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Are you speaking about for example, custom created Passage Guides? I have a bunch it looks like I can right click on them in the Guides dropdown menu and Delete shows up to get rid of them if I want.

Sorry if that's not what you meant...

No, I've removed the custom guides I don't want ... but there are "saved" guides that have no real information in them that cover non-sensical passage that were used for tests that I would like to clear out. I run a specialized PG to see what work I have (or have not) done. The test cases show up here.

There's no feature designed specifically to make it easy to do this (we've been requesting one), but I believe it was you yourself who pointed out to me that I could run a PG on the whole Bible. You will see a section at the top of the PG that says "See also..." for all the saved guide reports that are included within the passage range of the present guide. If you hover over each of these in sequence, a red circle with an X in it will become visible, which you can click on to delete the saved guide. Hardly intuitive!

Also note that you have to run through this procedure for each of the custom guide templates you've created, since the "See Also" section will only show saved guide reports that were generated from the same guide template as the one you're running now. Big pain in the wazoo!

Thanks - I knew I'd found this work around ... I just couldn't find it again ... kept looking in My Content instead of "raising my eyes up unto the ..."[:D] ... well, no, I made the mistake of trying it and apparently having only My Content in the Guide gives different results.

I have not seen a true way to delete a guide yet. My guess is that its down on the list of to-dos. For now it's more of an annoyance. the longer we go without the ability though the greater the announce will become.

Yes, the longer we wait for it, the greater the announce[ment] will be when they finally add this! [;)]
